QUES:  Is there a time frame for completing DDJAY projects?

ANS: Yes, developers are usually required to complete DDJAY projects within a stipulated time frame.

QUES: What is the process for allotment  of plots under this scheme and when will  i get the posession?

ANS: The allotment of plots is done on first come first serve basis. It is done in 2 phases with the second phase commencing after completion of            infrastructure development work. Total time given to colonizers to complete the project is 5 years with a grace period of 2 years in case all            plots have not been allotted. 

QUES: What are the benefits under this scheme?

ANS: Majority of dwellers in Tier II and III cities don’t get access to basic amenities like water, electricity, sewerage etc. Many properties in such              cities are illegal with poor infrastructure and bank loans are scarcely available to home buyers. Under this scheme, colonizers will provide              all modern amenities and 80% bank loan will be available. Also, floor wise sale and registration will be allowed for small plots of 60 sq m                (72 sq yd) which is a first in Haryana (currently minimum size of plot in which builder floors can be sold is 180 sq yd). Projects can be                    planned for even 5 acres.

QUES: What are the subsidies/benefits under for colonizers under this scheme?

ANS: The land conversion (CLU) charges and infrastructure development charges required to be paid by developers to the government have                been waived off to encourage them to develop such colonies. The rates of licence fee and external development charges have also been              substantially reduced.

QUES: In which cities/towns are plots being sold under this scheme?

ANS: Haryana Government has already passed more than 10 licences in Bahadurgarh, Dharuheda, Palwal, Rewari, Farukhnagar and Karnal.                Dozens of licences are currently under process and likely to be cleared soon.
