Greater Noida News: Yamuna Expressway will be connected to Noida International Airport being built in Jewar by June 15. Airplanes will start flying from Jewar Airport in the coming month of October, but before that Jewar Airport will be connected to Yamuna Expressway. However, it will take time for the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to connect with the airport. A 31 km long green field is being built to connect the Noida International Airport being built in Jewar to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.

The interchange work will be completed by June 15 and flights will start from Noida International Airport in October 2024. National and international level flights will start on the first day itself. Its work is going on at a very fast pace. 80 percent work of connecting Noida Airport to Yamuna Expressway has been completed. According to the information, by June 15, the interchange work on Yamuna Expressway will be completed, which will directly connect Jewar Airport to Delhi and Agra.

Runway work completed, radar will be installed in July.
The most important thing for the airport is the runway. A runway is currently being built for Jewar Airport. The executing agency and Noida International Airport Limited informed the government that the runway has been constructed. Necessary preparations for long distance flights from Jewar International Airport have been completed. The target of long distance flight from Jewar International Airport have been completed. The target of long distance flights has been set from 25th April. Meaning, long distance flights will start from Jewar International Airport from April 25. The runway is completely ready for this. At present there is no need for radar. 50 radar flights can be flown daily from the airport without any problem. Phase one development is scheduled to be completed in September-2024. The construction of the 3,900 meter long runway is to be completed by the end of December 2023.

Terminal building will be completed in two months.
Noida International Airport Limited told the government that a budget of Rs 10 thousand crore has been set to complete the first phase of the airport. Out of which Rs 7,371 crore has been spent so far. The construction of the terminal building has been completed. Finishing work is going on. This work will be completed in the next two months. After this passengers will be able to use the the terminal building.
